Work Flow

With the release of coDiagnostiX 9.12.1, two additional digital workflows are available for users using dynamic guided implant surgery.

For the first time, existing CBCT data records (without DENAMARK) can be used for a dynamically navigated operation with the DENACAM system. This is especially interesting for referrers whose patients already have a current CBCT recording.

Workflow Option A (Marker-Tray in CBCT)

In the classic workflow (Option A), the marker in the CBCT image must be placed in the patient's mouth. Its position in the X-ray data is determined fully automatically by the DENACAM system.

• Required infrastructure: The customer needs a CBCT with a resolution of <0.3mm, better 0.2 mm.
  

Workflow Option B (Marker-Tray in model scan)

The new workflow option B differs from the classic workflow option in which the marker does not have to be worn by the patient during CBCT imaging. Its position is recorded by an intraoral scanner and transferred to the planning software by overlay.

• Required infrastructure: The customer needs a CBCT and an intraoral scanner or a model scanner.

Workflow Option C (3D printed Tray)

The new workflow option C differs from the classic workflow option in which the marker does not have to be worn by the patient during CBCT imaging. Its position is defined in the planning software because the tray is generated digitally. The STL model of the tray can then be produced with a validated 3D printer.
