Dr. Schkommodau is head of the Institute of Medical Engineering and Medical Informaticsat the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW. He is focused on research and technology in the field of design of implants and surgical instruments and computer aided and image guided medical interventions. He serves as member of Scientific Advisory Board at a number of Swiss technology companies.
