PROF. DR. DR. PHILIPP JÜRGENS

Philipp Jürgens completed his training as oral and maxillofacial surgeon at the TU Munich (D) and the University Hospital Basel (CH). From 2002 to 2005 was Philipp Jürgens managing director of the Bavarian research association for "Tissue Engineering and Rapid Prototyping - FORTEPRO". After moving to the University of Basel, he was appointed deputy project manager for the CMF (Cranio-Maxillofacial) project within the NCCR (National Center of Competence in Research for Computer-Aided and Image-Guided Medical Interventions). Later Philipp Jürgens led the research unit Computer-Assisted Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery (CACMFS) at the University Hospital Basel and worked as Medical Director at the Medical Care Center Lörrach (D) and in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Hospital Basel. Today, Philipp Jürgens heads the MKG Arabellapark MKG surgery practice and the Leading Medical Center in Munich.
